Goal Weight: 60 kilos (132 Pounds)

Why have I decided to finally lose weight?
For my health and my daughter.

 In February 2012, Avah went into hospital because she had pneumonia. We booked a hotel across the road from the hospital so we could be near her and I could not even walk the 600 metres to the hospital from our room. My back could not support all the weight I was carrying to walk that far. I am her Mum and I could not even get to the hospital to be with her.  I love my daughter so much and I was not there when she needed me.

I spent 3 days in the hotel crying because I was a shit mother. David had to stay in there with her. My baby girl could not have her mother with her because her mother was too fat and lazy to look after herself. I promised myself that I would never let this happen again.

But, I have promised myself before that I would lose weigh and never did it. This time, I am going to have to do something different. I need to keep myself organised, motivated and inspired. I am hoping that keeping this blog will help me stay on track. Also, I love the feeling of eating well and being in control of my life.

What am I doing to lose weight? Not drinking alcohol, eating healthy food (lots of brown rice, vegetables, chicken) and water.

Favourite Naughty Food: Potato chips and Indian food.

Favourite Good Food: Vegetables

Favourite Naughty Drink: Red wine (I used to have it 2 or 3 times a week.

Favourite Good Drink: Water. I love it.

  My Job: I provide publishing support to AFL football clubs, My clients include community clubs and VFL clubs. I am lucky enough to do this from home, but sitting at the computer all day has helped a lot of fat settle on my arse.

  


My Family: I have a huge family. Lots of brothers, sisters, nephews and nieces. But here, in my home, lives me and my sexy hubby, David, and our beautiful daughter, Avah. Also our Labrador doggies, Buffy and Bronx.
